GMS provides a variety of services aimed at supporting the independence of people with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. GMS is focused on providing quality services that promote empowerment, community inclusion, health and safety.

$18.50 starting pay - Entry Level with no experience. Additional pay for CRMA, PSS, CNA, MHRT, BHP or DSP certifications.

GMS is growing and has multiple openings for Direct Support Professionals and CRMAs for our in-home, community, and residential programs. Programs are located in Westbrook, Portland, Windham, Gorham, Biddeford, Alfred and East Baldwin.

You will work with a team that helps adults with disabilities gain inclusion in the community, learn daily living skills, and set and achieve their goals. Experience welcome but not required. GMS will provide paid training.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Possess valid driver's license with a good driving record. Must be able to pass a criminal background check according to state regulation. CRMA certification or ability to complete certification through GMS (paid by GMS). A desire to improve the quality of life for adults with disabilities by supporting their independence.

Relief staff ++must++ work at minimum ++one shift per calendar month++.
