We are hiring a detail-oriented *Childcare Specialist *for our Children’s Services program. This position is 40 hours, year-round.

• Starting rate: $18.00/hr

Essential Duties:

• Responsible for all childcare billing, invoicing, and collections (along with strong math skills)
• Strong verbal communications with clients and finance department
• Monitoring and maintain childcare accounts 
• Proficient in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, etc.) and database navigation
• Supports extended Enrollment Team with daily tasks (phone, applications, email inquiry, etc.)

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. required
• Office administration experience and/or 12 related college credits preferred
• Associates degree is a plus
• Excellent computer and database skills and knowledge

Other Requirements: Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate others; competency with Microsoft Office; Pre-employment physical, SBI, DMV, Maine Sex Offender Registry, DHHS fingerprinting, fraud, and federal debarment background checks must be completed upon offer of hire and as a condition of employment; valid driver’s license and travel within the service area is required.
