The Employer has temporarily removed this postingThe Vermont Teddy Bear Co. is in search of a Purchasing Manager to join our Sourcing Team. The Purchasing Manager is responsible for managing the costing and purchasing processes for all of The Vermont Teddy Bear brands.
Duties include but are not limited to:
The ideal candidate will have effective problem solving and negotiation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships internally and with supply partners.
Experience with apparel and fabric manufacturing economics and operations management (i.e., lead-times, transit times, garment and fabric construction and apparel manufacturing operations) and Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
