Positive Behavior Support Specialist

Positive Behavior Support Specialists (PBSS) are masters-level clinicians who support students with a mental health diagnosis and, in some cases, a developmental disability. Responsibilities include full clinical oversight of the supports provided to assigned students, including clinical supervision of behavior interventionists.
The PBSS will develop and oversee implementation of the Positive Behavior Support Plan; collect relevant data and present that data to the treatment team; share clinical insight and recommendations with the treatment team; and lead and/or participate in trainings. The PBSS is an active member of the Redwood Program's management team and reports directly to the Redwood Director; He or she also partners with our Clinical Director to oversee complex shared cases. Incumbents work in our main office, and support students in school, community and home environments. Master's degree required. BCBA designation preferred
Experience working with schools and special education staff as well as IEP teams helpful.
