Chair Lift Operators work at a primary point of guest service helping guests get on/off the lift- providing safe assistance and direction while ensuring excellent customer service through friendly guest interaction. Operators maintain lift areas with the highest concern for the safety of guests. Positively greeting lift riders at the base of the lift to check and scan passes.
Applicants must be 18 years old and must be able to follow established safety and operating procedures. Requires strong observation skills- with an ability to effectively inspect the area on a regular basis for safety hazards and appearance. A friendly disposition and an ability to positively interact with a variety of people are essential. Must be able to stand and or sit for long periods of time as well as work outdoors in all weather conditions. Timely and reliable attendance is essential. Holiday and/or weekend hours will likley be necessary.
