The Vermont Psychiatric Care Hospital (VPCH) is seeking a Food Service Worker. This position is responsible for a variety of routine food preparation, including serving and clean-up tasks. Additionally, incumbent will assist with dishwashing, cleaning tables, and sweeping floors. Candidates should have the ability to follow simple oral and written instructions.

Work is performed in an institution kitchen during an assigned shift. Incumbents may deliver food carts to various dining areas. Duties require operation of cutters and slicers, use of knives, and exposure to high heat and humidity. May be required to operate a delivery vehicle.
Completion of the eighth grade or higher.
