Gifford in beautiful Randolph, Vermont, is seeking an Executive Chef to work in our Nutrition and Food Service department. This position’s main focus is to ensure the foodservice program in a single or multiple-site program is managed according to policies and procedures, and federal/state requirements. He /she will provide leadership, accountability, support and guidance to ensure that food quality standards, inventory control, food safety guidelines and customer/patient expectations are met. He/she will maintain all required compliance documentation, oversee budget, writes all schedules and executes and oversees all payroll procedures. Candidate must actively participate in a team-oriented approach to assure an enjoyable customer experience, while communicating in a positive and professional manner. Candidate must maintain successful attendance and performance standards; and have the ability to meet the physical demands of the position10 years of food service management or similar experience preferred.
