Temporary full time opening in the BGS Print Shop. Primary responsibilities include the nightly processing, printing and finishing of legislative journals, calendars, bills and permanent journals to be delivered to customer the next morning.

This position, Digital Printing Technician I - Temporary (Job Requisition # 627), is open to all State employees and external applicants.
This is a temporary position. Temporary work is typically for variable hours, and is not expected to be full-time. The State does not guarantee 40 hours of work per week.
Temporary from mid-December through mid-May.
Shift 4:00PM to 12:00AM with an encumbered lunch.

Work is performed in an area with high noise levels and under the pressure of deadlines. Possible exposure to anhydrous ammonia is involved. Lifting of heavy boxes of paper and other work related objects is necessary. Manual dexterity is needed to operate reprographic equipment. The inevitable exposure to inks and other print materials may cause soiling of clothing.
High School diploma or equivalent.
