Community Skills Worker

Do you love working with children? Community Skills Workers provide services and supports to children who are experiencing an emotional disorder or who are at risk of developing an emotional disorder. The CSW coordinates and implements activities within the community which will enhance the self-confidence and self-esteem of particpants while following goals and an individual support plan. CSW's use effective strategies of play, acceptance, curiosity and empathy in working with youth with complex trauma histories, attachment issues and challenging behaviors.
This position involves a schedule that requires flexibility to meet the needs of children and families being served.

High School Diploma or equivalent required with a minimum of one year of verifiable experience working with children with emotional and behavioral difficulties, including teaching social skills, life skills, or coping skills. Strongly prefer bachelor's degree with the same experience.
