About the Company: Vermont Information Processing is a software and services company that serves the beverage industry. Our software applications handle all business functions for a beverage distributor including inventory management, order processing, sales reporting and financial management. 60% of all beer distributors in the US use our software to run their business. Our supplier services business is focused on moving data between buyers and sellers in the beverage industry to support marketing and supply chain activities.
We are looking for a new member of our Key Accounts Solutions team for our supplier services business. This customer support/data maintenance specialist will create and maintain records of individual stores and organizational hierarchies of national and regional chain stores for storage within a file containing a national repository of retailers of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. In addition, this candidate will assist our new and existing customers in the implementation of our Key Accounts Solutions/Applications.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Adding newly opened chain stores to file on a daily basis.
Implement VIP's suite of Key Account Solutions
Developing and maintaining relationships with outside data providers to enhance content of file.
Develop and maintain relationships with customer contacts for the purpose of obtaining information to enhance content of file.
Respond to requests from customers, asking to verify and update existing information within the file.
Train end users on use of data content through currently existing reporting tools.
Once proficient, educate team of part time employees in your area of responsibility.
Be able to communicate current level of data completeness and accuracy of top beverage volume chains at any given time.
About the Candidate:
Candidate must have a strong work ethic, a proven track record of problem solving and front-line customer experience.
Technical experience with Excel, Access, SQL queries, IBM iSeries systems, or other related technical experience is helpful.
Ability to learn new technical/data processing systems is a must.
A positive, can-do attitude toward new and difficult tasks.
Ability to interact in a positive and effective manner with customers and colleagues.
