Washington County Mental Health Services (WCMHS) Inc. provides comprehensive, community-based services to adults with serious and persistent mental illness; developmental disabilities, mental retardation and autism; children with severe emotional disturbances and their families; children and adults with acute behavioral problems and a wide range of other challenging behaviors.

Services include individualized residential and day treatment and are provided not only to the citizens of Vermont, but to individuals referred by other states and countries.

We currently have 700+ employees located in over 30 locations throughout central Vermont.

Benefit Summary

Listed below is a summary of our current benefits (subject to change) available to all Full-time Regular employees (30 hours/week and over).

The employee is eligible for insurance after 30 days of continuous, full-time employment. The insurance would be effective the first day of the month following that initial 30 days.

The following benefits are of no charge to employees that turn in a benefit enrollment form, even if the employee chooses not to be on our health insurance:

· Short-term Disability Insurance

· Long-term Disability Insurance

· Group Life & Accidental Death/Dismemberment

We offer coverage for employees? domestic partner/civil union partner.

We also offer a flexible benefit plan that allows employees to take a predetermined amount of money out of their paycheck, pre-tax, over the course of the year. This is to cover health benefits that are not normally covered by our insurance and/or for dependent care.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Free, short-term, confidential counseling for employees and their household members.

We now also offer a 403b retirement savings with a partial match.

12 ½ paid holidays: New Years Day, Martin Luther King?s Birthday, President?s Day, Town Meeting Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran?s Day, Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve (1/2 day), and Christmas Day.

Paid holiday, vacation, and sick leave are pro-rated according to the employees? base weekly hours.
