Health Care & Rehabilitation Services (HCRS)is a multi-faceted, non-profit community mental health agency serving the residents of Windham and Windsor Counties. As a comprehensive community human service provider, our mission is to assist and advocate for individuals, families, and children who are living with mental illness, developmental disabilities, substance abuse disorders or a combination of these conditions. The goal of our programs is to promote our clients' personal growth and to empower them to lead productive lives in the community. Through our five major programs, HCRS provides care to over 4,000 individuals each year. We have 14 offices, and nearly 500 year-round employees.

The HCRS Human Resources Department facilitates a positive work experience for all employees. This occurs through best practices and initiatives which meet the emerging and changing needs of our employees. We are particularly proud of our benefits package: medical coverage through HCRS is at minimal cost to the employee, and all of our benefits plans are designed in response to our employee's needs. A recent addition is our tuition reimbursement plan, which becomes effective in July 2005.
